Vlanning
I’ve spent all day today with configuration files, ip addresses and vlans. They seem fairly simple in their design, but actually seem to take a fair bit of thought to get them to work!
Our 5412zl is now successfully routing between ten vlans, and my dhcp server is all set up with seven scopes for the new /20 subnet assigned to us. A successful day all in all.
Just 16 more switches to configure and then I need to think about moving my active directory to a new subnet. It’s never ending!
